Because of his passion for helping people, Mike became a Licensed Mental Health Counselor in 2002. He has over 25 years of experience helping people through difficult issues including depression, anxiety, trauma, abuse, divorce and addiction. He enjoys helping families to adopt, and he believes it is very important to give back to our veterans by providing them with the highest quality of care.

Before starting his private practice, Mike has previously partnered with River Point Behavioral Health, Jewish Family and Community Services, Community Behavioral Services, and the Florida Department of Children and Families.

He has qualified for and given expert testimony in dozens of legal cases and has completed over 200 Home Studies/Assessments for Adoption, Custody and Intervention cases, both locally and overseas.

Mike is a Christian and has had the honor of walking side by side with Christian leaders as they work their way through difficult times. He greatly enjoys helping families wade through the challenges of parenting children, and likes to joke that he “speaks teen.”
